Hello There! Thank you for visiting my site. Every little bit matters to me and it matters that you took the time to come to my site. Trust me. As a mama of 3 small boys, I understand just how precious your time is. So who am I?

First, This is an old-ish picture (beginning of 2023). Don't judge. Do you know how hard it is to get a decent picture of oneself while also trying to protect my kids. It's not easy. Let's just say most pictures now-a-days are with the kids. A lot of times duck face is involved. LOL

I am many things. I am Andrea, wife to an amazing patient and helpful man, mother to 3 small boys, dog mama, Crafter, Reader, Writer, Veteran of the USAF, Homesteader, Homeschooling Mama, among many many other things. As parents, we learn to wear many hats don't we?

I have been crocheting most of my life, sewing about the same, and just doing anything crafty for as long as I can remember. I love to make things. And recently I have taken to pattern making to share my own designs with the world. I really enjoy making patterns and helping others craft adorable amigurumi or comfortable fashionable clothing.

As I said I also homeschool so since I have now been teaching for several years, I feel it is only the right thing to do, to share my knowledge with the world. Look out for curriculum reviews and helpful tips to keep you going along your journey. Also we aren't a Pinterest worthy household. We do things as we can, and I forewarn that it won't always be pretty or the IT thing.

I also attempt, yes attempt, to homestead as best I can on my small lot. So, I'll definitely be sharing lessons learned and any suggestions I might have. There will probably be a lot of lessons learned. Haha!

Also, I love to read. So book reviews will definitely be a thing. I do mostly fantasy, though I tend to steer clear of the new Romantasy genre. That's not really my style. Epic, Dark, High fantasy genres are more where I tend to haunt. SO if that's also up your alley, Maybe we will meet somewhere along the road.

And lastly, I write. I have been working on a novel. AND a short story. AND a children's book. What!? I have ADHD and I struggle to stay focused on one project for long. Which is why my blog is a mesh of many different topics. To keep me posting. One day Ill get my novel finished. I made decent progress this last year and then sickness hit my family and cycled through us all for like 2 months straight. Then it was the holidays. Now I need to get back to my old routine of getting up early to work sans family and maybe it'll start coming along more. One day. Don't worry. You will be the first to know it is complete.

Other topics will more than likely weasel their way into the blog. I hope you don't mind. I wouldn't be surprised if a Hockey Topic doesn't appear one day. But until then, I hope you have found something that enriches your life. Make sure you drop me a line! I would love to hear from you!
